Hello, I'm Christian Colaci, this is my blog. I would like to capture love in culture and the connectivity therein with a focus on people standing out while simultaneously expressing a realization of our similarities. My major is HDFS (Human Development & Family Sciences) which I will hopefully acquire this year, after which I want to get a Bachelors in either Behavioral Health or Non Profit Management in order to be equipped to give back to the community by meeting people where they're at and really focus on the links between mental health, drug addiction and homelessness and really bridge the gaps in care and also change the way we view these conditions and predicaments people have found themselves in. #abolishthestigma. Tim Cruse
Tim Cruse, an LBCC alumnus from 2023, spends part of his days as a receptionist for the SLC (Student Leadership Council) front office, helping students and fulfilling various duties such as setting the office up in the morning and keeping the space clean and tidy for the duration of his day. He plays an indispensable role for the many events that occur around campus by setting them up and breaking them down. Tim has also been a groundskeeper for the last two years, where he was able to do work he truly loved and looked forward to doing. Recently he was transferred to the facilities maintenance department where he takes pride in initiating work that keeps the LBCC campus in Albany running optimally. Tim also enjoys life outside of work, where he gets to spend quality time with his cat and is able to work on his many crafts, consisting of but not limited to drawing, Magic the Gathering and getting and staying caught up on his favorite anime. Pam McLagan works Thursday October 23, at the Linn-Benton Albany campus library, where they offer an array of different services and friendly encounters. McLagan and her team of librarians are an indispensable asset to students and have much experience on the job and on the campus as students. McLagan is a library specialist and performs many duties during her day-to-day shifts, including answering questions, checking out books and equipment, and stocking book shelves. She has been working in the library for 2 years but before she started this new chapter in her life she served 24 years as an instructor for LBCC. Rhonda Anglin helping a student at the LBCC bookstore on the Albany campus Wednesday October 25th, Rhonda is the operations coordinator (commander and chief) for the bookstore and is in charge of supplying most if not all the goodies located there, from food to clothing and everything in between, she has been doing it for 23 years and is a proud Grandma to four fantastic...
